TRYOUT PROCESS

GENERAL TRYOUT PROCESS

Players are judged on their Infield, Outfield and Batting skill.  See the details for how each skill is judged.

Judges are volunteers.  Judges may not judge for an age group they have a child in.

PITCHER/CATCHER TRYOUT PROCESS

Pitcher and catcher tryouts are used to insure those positions are filled on the top teams.  The pitcher and catcher tryouts do not affect the general scores and are not required.  Players not skilled at the pitcher or catcher positions or players requesting to play down to lower team do not benefit from participating in the pitcher/catcher tryouts.   See the details for how each skill is judged.

The judges are professional umpires.

SCORE TABULATION

Scores are entered to 2 different computers by 2 different individuals then cross checked to verify accuracy.
