About WAA Softball

Welcome to Woodbury Athletic Association’s Fastpitch softball Web Site.

WAA Softball is an all volunteer organization. Girls who live or attend school in Woodbury, Minnesota are eligible to participate in the program.

The purpose of WAA Softball is to place emphasis on sportsmanship, teamwork, and knowledge of the game.

There are two levels of competition:

1. In-House – This program is designed to teach players the skills and fundamentals to play the game of softball. Players develop confidence, skills and teamwork while competing with teams within the Woodbury area. Leagues are offered for Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade
.
2. Traveling – This program is designed to give a higher level of competition for the more avid player. Players develop confidence, skills, and teamwork while competing with team representing other area communities. The traveling program is offered for 10 and under through 18 and under. Age guidelines are according to ASA rules.
